Outstanding New Environmental Scientist (ONES) Award (R01)
The School of Medicine may submit one application for the Outstanding New Environmental Scientist (ONES)Award. This R01 program is intended to support “the most talented Early Stage Investigators (ESIs) who intend to make a long-term commitment to research in the Environmental Health Sciences and assist them in launching an innovative research program focused on the understanding of environmental exposure effects on people’s health.” Full details are found at https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-ES-18-001.html. Anyone wishing to be considered as the School of Medicine applicant should send the following to Dr. Michelle Broido, Associate Vice Chancellor for Biomedical Research, by noon on Monday, November 20: the potential applicant’s CV or NIH biosketch and a brief (one – two page) summary of the proposed project, including a statement as to the connection with environmental science and the applicant’s commitment to research in environmental science.
