Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award
The awards program supports the research and teaching careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences. The program provides discretionary funding to faculty at an early stage in their careers. Criteria for selection include an independent body of scholarship attained within the first five years of their appointment as independent researchers, and a demonstrated commitment to education, signaling the promise of continuing outstanding contributions to both research and teaching.
Institutions may submit only one Dreyfus nomination annually. To be considered as the University's nominee, visit the Competition Space site, accessible via the Pitt Passport portal, to apply. Applications that are submitted through the site are reviewed by the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research. In cases where there are more applications received through the site than stipulated by the sponsor, an ad hoc committee is convened to make selection recommendations. Questions regarding these funding opportunities or the internal competition process should be directed to Ryan Champagne: firstname.lastname@example.org or 412.624.7410
