2018 Mallinckrodt Scholar Award

The Edward Mallinckrodt, Jr. Foundation has invited the University of Pittsburgh to nominate two investigators for the 2018 Mallinckrodt Scholar Award.  The award provides $100,000 per year in direct costs for four years.  No indirect costs are provided.  The funds are to be used to develop a new project to the point that it will be competitive for the awarding of external funding in the form of an R01 (or similar) grant.  Eligible applicants are MD  and/or PhD investigators who are in the fifth – eighth year of a tenure track position.  See http://emallinckrodtfoundation.org/Guidelines.html for details.
